Grandfather Clock from the 18th Century. Thomas Glazebrook was a clock maker from Mansfield, England. He made this clock around 1760. It stands 7 feet tall. The photos only show the clock dial, hands, and movement where it was taken in my shop while under restoration. There were many repairs; the minute arbor was broken, one of the motion works wheels was missing teeth, it was missing a suspension spring, and the pendulum wire was not long enough, among other issues. The clock is now back in its case and running smoothly. It strikes on the hour a very loud bell. Also there is a calender of the day in the lower part of the dial.
